Biographical / Historical
Eulalia Sprawls Hecox became a teacher at the age of 17. In 1955 at the age of 62, she received a bachelor's degree from Chico State College. She was married, raised four children, taught piano and after 1944, taught elementary school. During World War II, she and her husband were first aid instructors.
