Scope and Contents

The preliminary report includes the mines' location, physical conditions, history, geology, equipment, prospective operating costs, metallurgy, mill cost, development prospects and recommendations. Also in the collection: three hand drawn maps of site locations and content: a flow sheet detailing mine operation: a survey of Foster's Group of Gold Quartz Mines near Bully Choop Mountain, Shasta Co.; and a letter from W.R. Beall to W.H. Meehan detailing aspects the Celveland Mine Property for purchase in 1907.
