Scope and Contents

Collection contains the minutes of board meetings; minutes are missing from 1889 to 1995. Some of the volumes coincide in dates as the transitions between the governance of the elementary and high school and unified boards overlap. The collection does not contain minutes of the boards of Centerville, Cohasset, Forest Ranch, Nord, Pleasant Valley or Shasta Union school districts, all of which merged into Chico Unified.

Content Description From the Collection: Twenty-nine students enrolled in the First Year Experience English 130 course gathered materials from nine campus organizations to analyze the organizations' cultural and community rhetorics and compositional approach. The campus organizations are: the Dream Center, Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), Gamma Zeta Alpha, Gender and Sexuality Equity Center (GSEC), Safe Place, Sigma Tau Delta (STD), Students for Quality Education (SQE), and Upward Bound (UB).The student gathered both physical...
