This collection deals primarily with road petitions and reports during the years 1850 through 1908. There are several years missing including all of the 1870’s. Document types include but are not limited to road and ferry petitions, surveyors reports, hand drawn maps of roads, field notes, bridge and road plans, and public notices. The general geographic region covered by the collection is Butte County and neighboring cities and towns.
