In participation with the Chico Archives Toolkit Project, Janet Hernandez donated these materials to the University Archives. Hernandez served as the MEChA Historian in fall 2017 and graduated in 2018, donating the materials in May 2018. These materials will be integrated into the MEChA for 30 years collection. They are arranged into folders: Outreach, Art, Meeting Minutes, and Pictures, Newspapers. There are also two oversized items: a banner depicting the Chicano Movement Timeline (shelved in the extra oversized map case in the reading room) and a August 1993 calendar that includes a roster of MEChA officers and events planned for that month (shelved in the unprocessed oversized map case). An inventory (2018-009-MEChA) was created and uploaded to BOX.
