Biography

E-ARC was a student-run program started in the late 90s and primarily a free library space with large collection of environmental books. It was located throughout its tenure at the Rainbo Warehouse (4th and Cherry), Butte Hall 518 and the Bell Memorial Union. E-ARC also had a programmatic side and offered workshops and small scale environmental events throughout the year. Together with the EAC they helped program the annual Earth Day festivities on campus. When our formal AS Sustainability program was established in 2006, E-ARC lost some of its impact and reach each year and was “eliminated” around 2011/12.
